I’ve been saving a couple of posts for the quiet news times – this is one of those times!
Last week Abarth opened a new headquarters in Turin, this is Officine 83, Mirafiori and is located on site at Fiats Mirafiori head office and factory.
Officine 83, originally uploaded by teamabarth.They have refurbished an existing large industrial building, and it now houses the workshops where the Abarth models are manufactured and developed. It is divided into different departments: the rally and racing team, prototype development, and the development of cars derived from standard production. The technical and design offices are located next to the workshops, while the Marketing and the Sales & Network Development functions are housed on the first floor, with the other business support functions. There’s also a wicked showroom that contains many of Abarths historic models.
